Yucca & the proposed ammonia pathway

The original page links reduced ammonia in swine, poultry, cattle and aquaculture systems to Yucca schidigera. It describes saponins and aromatic compounds binding ammonia into complexes, supporting ammonia-decomposing anaerobic fermentation, and components that inhibit urease activity.

Enzymes & microorganisms

Protease, cellulase, beta-glucanase and lipase are named as plant-derived enzymes intended to support Bacillus subtilis fermentation and use of the saponin–ammonia complex. These are the supplier’s proposed mechanisms; the public page does not supply a quantified trial.

Build a measurable comparison

For a farm evaluation, record ammonia, ventilation, stocking density, litter or water conditions and feed intake together. For aquaculture, confirm the intended feed or water application before use.

Before your technical evaluation

Request the current composition, saponin specification, microorganism counts, enzyme activities, species-specific dose, pack size and an ammonia-monitoring protocol.

This guide preserves the product information on the original Biofeed Ras website. A downloadable product specification was not linked there. Request the current technical sheet, label and Vietnam supply terms from our team.
