A guide for pig and poultry nutritionists, feed-mill technical directors, farm veterinarians and specialist distributors reviewing everyday nutrition after the preventive-antibiotic phase-out.
WHAT THE RULE CHANGES
Article 12(3) of Decree 13/2020/NĐ-CP sets a staged phase-out for preventive antibiotics in livestock. The final permitted period ended on 31 December 2025.
Read Article 12 · current consolidated text ↗Treatment of diagnosed disease remains under veterinary prescription. The change does not mean every antibiotic is banned or that a feed supplement replaces necessary treatment. Growth-promotion use was already prohibited from 2018.

WHAT TO REVIEW IN THE FEED
Review nutrition together with biosecurity, vaccination, husbandry and veterinary management. Nutritional support is one part of that programme.
Identify feeding transitions and the outcome to evaluate. Review LIVEBIOS and BioLAC ingredients, stage-specific inclusion and current activity guarantees.
Use ingredient and feed tests to understand mycotoxin exposure. Review MINGFIX alongside the acceptance, storage and quality controls already in your programme.
MINGFIX ↗Define the comparison and the success criteria first. Include supplement cost, feed intake and saleable output; do not assign a performance or energy credit from a brochure alone.
Review the evidence ↗QUESTIONS YOUR TECHNICAL TEAM WILL ASK
They are presented for nutritional evaluation. The supplied materials do not establish them as treatments for diagnosed disease. Your veterinarian remains responsible for the health programme.
The current species-specific label, guaranteed analysis, microbial strain and viable-count information, enzyme assay definitions, batch certificate of analysis, processing and storage stability, and inclusion instructions.
Agree comparable groups, diet, feeding stage, duration and records with your nutritionist and veterinarian. Track feed intake, growth, feed conversion, uniformity and total cost per kilogram of production. Record health events and veterinary interventions so they can be considered in the result.
The supplied documents do not establish Vietnam registration or local stock. Before import, a trial or a commercial order, discuss the current product status, label and required route with Biofeed Ras and your local import or regulatory team.
